String Orchestras
Mr. Carroll is very thankful to the administrators of Trinity Preparatory School,
Delaware Valley Classical School, and Concord Christian Academy who have
given him the privilege of starting his string orchestra programs in each
of their schools. He is also grateful towards the parents and students enrolled in
his programs for working together to make them a success. There are currently
approximately 100 students enrolled between the three schools. This includes his
homeschool string orchestra, Strings for the King, which meets before the LEARN
co-op at Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Elmer, NJ.
The orchestras incorporate students from 1st-12th grade. They are taught in small
groups which are divided according to grade and skill level. For performances, the
students perform as a large ensemble and also play pieces separately as the
Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced String Ensembles. Performing opportunities
have included school events, nursing home ministries, music competitions, and
community events. Musical selections include not only classical music but folk,
sacred, and world music as well as original compositions and arrangements by
Mr. Carroll.
Please contact Mr. Carroll or one these fine learning institutions, linked below, for more
information about the orchestras, private lessons, or the schools themselves.
